Rare Unrefinished Doll Trunk

 

Rare Un-refinished Doll Trunk. You can leave this trunk in it's original condition, or refinish this wonderful doll trunk yourself . The trunk has original pattern paper covering over wood , no missing pieces or large holes, just the normal wear and tear you would see on a trunk with this age, this is also true with the wood slats and decorative trim.   The trunk comes with the origional interior tray,and a working lock. Unfortunately, we do not have the key. These flat keys can be found with a little looking. If you choose to refinish this trunk it is in need of new leather handles. (please look closely at the pictures) The lock is a nice antique metal mechanism and dates from around the 1860's to the 1880’s. Overall this trunk is in good solid condition and would make the perfect project for someone so inclined.
