This is one of our Favorite Trunks in all our years!
The trunk is in the
highest quality grade, has many adornments, extra slats, wonderful
drawbolts, and a Beautiful Double latch European style lock with key
(Works barely, I would not use it) The Most rare feature is the finish
on the metal. This is a finish called Crystallized tin, and it is
almost always 90% gone, but this one has the large majority of the
original finish intact. This is only one of two of these we have seen
in this good condition!. The trunk is Spectacular, the finish is
incredible, this is truly a Showpiece trunk and one of the best. We
have had it for several years in our collection and have just decided
it needs a new home.
