This is a Somewhat
rare and hard to find trunk. In the mid 1800's, a new style of all
metal body trunks came about. These began primarily in England, and
were made as an attempt to cut production costs of wood body covered
trunks, while still producing a solid and sturdy trunk. These
are not as common as many trunks, and have a unique style and
beauty all their own. The trunk dimensions are 23" wide x 15" deep,
and 15.5" tall. Inside is a Philadelphia Newspaper from 1943 which was
left by the original owner's. |
