This is a large Cedar
decorative arts woodenware Hope Chest. This gem is done in a solid
Cedar lumber sporting a great look. This old treasure chest sports a
magnificent lid with copper hinges as well as a beautiful lock
plate. The keyhole is faced with an oval shaped escutcheon. The
chest has just been refinished and re-painted white like when we got
it. We then added painted accents, and gold highlights to increase
it's appeal. If you care about having a stricking piece of furniture
in your house, this jewel belongs to you. Truly a striking and
impressive vintage find with a visual heft that warrants showing
