Here's a little about the Legacy Trunks Family

We are located in the Beautiful Rocky Mountains on the

North Slope of Pikes Peak, Colorado.

We have been selling online since the early 1990's!
We sell many great products on our websites LegacyTrunks.com, Legacy-Store.com, and CBSMart.com

First, let us begin by saying that this trunk business is a labor of love, and is not going to make us rich! This all started because we collected Antique trunks, woodenware boxes, wood crates, etc. We just love them all! The problem we had was that we could not store all of them. After refinishing an Antique Dome Top trunk, a friend wanted to buy it, and suggested that we should sell them as they were truly Beautiful once we had refinished them. We thought about it for some time, and decided to sell some of them as we continued to collect more. We will continue to do this business as long as it is a labor of love. We have other occupations, and this part of our joy in life. We can't imagine a time that we will ever stop feeling the exhilaration of finding a great historical Trunk, and then transforming it into an updated Beauty to Begin it's New Legacy.

We Guarantee we will do our best to see that your
experience dealing with us is always a pleasant one.

Give us a try, you will never know treasures what you might find here!

Sidnee:

Blake:

Me...I have been a collector since I about 10 years old.  My mom would take my brother, sister and myself to garage sales every weekend and then occasionally we would go to the Flea Market and sell some of our treasures to buy extra things for ourselves.  When I was little I hated always going to the Flea Market, so I have to chuckle at how much I enjoy it now, and we rarely miss going on the weekends.  My sister calls me a "junker" but I really get a kick out of finding bargains and then passing some of them on as well as keeping some!
Refinishing trunks is one of my favorite things.

I have been a collector, or as Sidnee says, a 'Packrat' for what seems like my entire life. I appreciate the beauty and story that goes along with antique treasures. Bringing an Antique back to a new beauty is truly rewarding for me. My main function is to do the internet work. I design the websites, as well as refinishing trunks, fly fishing rods, and vintage stereo equipment as I can. We have a great family, wonderful friends, loving pets, and are lucky enough to live in one of the most awe inspiring places in the world. What more can you ask for?

Our stores are a reflection of some of the things we really find interesting, especially items that are related to Colorado where we live or the Old West. Most of the things are what we have carried around in boxes for the last 30 years. We finally have come to realize that we will never have a display case big enough to hold it all.

The Kids:

Corbin and Leslie are 'the kids'.

They are both teenagers now! (HELP!) They are both involved in school, friends, activities, and our family life. They are Great !
They are always creatively and functionally helpful in our endeavors.

The Resident ZOO

Dogs:

We have 2 dogs. Camie is our juvenile, rescued white-blue merle Border Collie. Quill, is the matron” is the dog that has grown up with the kids. She is a border collie mix, and  enjoying her later years.

Horses:

We actually have 2 horses, one is a mare about 14 years old and she is a Mustang/Percheron mix. She came off BLM land near Rock Springs, Wyoming and she is the boss.  Our other horse is a 6 year old Palomino Missouri Fox Trotter, he is the punk!  My husband and kids enjoy trail riding whenever we get a chance and love to be outdoors.

Cats:

We have 2 cats, Susie, and Henry. Susie is our outdoor barn cat, that is where she loves to be. She is a pretty Calico. Henry is a long haired black and white Tuxedo cat who ‘rules the roost’. Basically, he thinks he is the head dog, cat, horse, bird, and human in the house!

Yes, there’s more!

Birds:

Bloomers is a ring neck dove that lives in her indoor and outdoor cages depending on the weather. Pumpkin is the coolest orange pumpkin and black colored Canary you will ever see. He lives in his antique wrought iron cage, and loves to sing to George Strait, Frank Sinatra, Diana Krall, and multiple television show themes. Weird Bird.

Yet to come……..

You never know what Sidnee and Leslie will get next.
They are currently looking at Goats, Bunnies, Chickens, Peacocks, and even Reindeer!

As you can tell, our lives will NEVER be boring!
