This is a beautiful Civil War Era Trunk with double locks, Beautiful wood, and silver metal medallions.

 This trunk is made of solid pine and the patina is rich due to the age. This trunk has just refinished, and the exterior has been stained to a rich color, varnished with multiple coats, and then hand rubbed. Then the trunk exterior, and interior has been treated with a Feed-N-Wax Wood Preserver and just came out looking great. The metal banding and lip are made of steel and the unusual double locks on this trunk are also unique and date back to the 1860's. The leather handles have been replaced . It is of great size.
 THIS TRUNK WILL MAKE THE PERFECT COFFEE TABLE

We ship via UPS Ground usually. If you need faster shipment time, we can upgrade the UPS shipping service,
but it will be at an additional cost.

UPS Ground usually takes 5 – 7 business days, and sometimes more. We insure all packages for the purchase price.
We usually have the package ready to ship out within 2-4 days of payment verification.

The average cost for a basic restoration of a trunk is in the $500.00 or more range, and any parts,
or extras are at additional costs. Then there are the shipping costs to us which you will have to pay,.
We do include the return shipping costs in our fees.
The time to completion
can take from a couple of weeks to several months depending on the project.
